Year 5 Children's Work

During "Arts Week" we worked with  Kate Genever (a real live artist) to produce a wall hanging made out of various textiles.

The aim of our project was to make up a modern day version of the Hindu story of Karma and Sita.

We created the story as a collage  with different groups in 5D and 5K responsibe for making up different parts of the story.

All the parts were then sewn together to produce the wall hanging.

We then made the story into a short play which we performed in our Key Stage 2 Assembly.
