Around the World in 40 Minutes

Our school has links with Intake High School and we often have visits from their music and drama teachers. During the Summer term we were involved in a project called "Around the World in 40 Minutes". Different Year Groups in KS2 prepared music or a dance linked to a continent. Our continent was Australasia and we learnt about Aboriginal stories, music and art. We all performed our music or dances infront of our parents and some of our younger children. We played didgeridoos. In class we had a go at making some Aboriginal art.

Build a Buggy

For our Design Technology Project we had to work in a group to design and build a Buggy that was powered by an electric motor and it had to work!!

We al managed this task and it was fun racing the Buggies across the Hall floor.
