Saturday 24th of June saw a team of daring Year 6 children tackle an extremely muddy obstacle course!! The children had to tackle some tricky terrain, wade through deep water, crawl through pipes, climb over walls and slide on their bellies like penguins to get to the finish line.
It wasn’t a race, however. They could only reach the finish via team work and communication. The camaraderie was a spectacle in itself as they cheered for their friends and helped other children complete the course. Behaviour was excellent all round and we are very proud of Team Raynville! Each Participant was awarded a medal and neckerchief for completing the course! Well done to everyone who took part!
Here's the footage from the day. Please understand that I was the only person filming 4 separate groups of children across the 2KM loop of track, so you have my apologies if I have missed any of the action! Thanks to those who sent in their videos and pictures from the day, it really helped when putting this together. - Mr Perkins
